Monthly sketch walks around Vettucaud and the backwaters, and a longer life-drawing session indoors. No previous experience needed.
About this class
Drawing from life is the shortest way to the kind of drawing people mean when they say an artist draws well.
We meet somewhere with good light and good edges — a market, a church, the backwaters — and draw for two hours with a short break for tea. The second half of the session is indoors, working up one of the sketches.
Bring whatever you draw with. Some people use a pencil, some use a phone, some use both.
What to bring: a sketchbook, a pencil, and shoes you can stand in for two hours.
